Manoj Joshi is a Gujarati actor and comedian who works in Indian film and television. Manoj Joshi after graduating worked in different magazines like “Janmabhoomi’, “Gentlemen” and even the “ Economic and Political weekly” which was his longest stint until her quit after receiving the Best Actor Award for Chanakya. Manoj Joshi is a prolific writer and has written a Marathi play called “Karma”, he has also translated Vijay Tendulkar’s “Gharshiram Kotwal”. Manjo Joshi’s Bollywood debuted as Sub-Inspector Baaju in Safrarosh (1999) alongside his brother Rajesh Joshi who played the role of Bala Thakur. Hulchul, Dhoom, Bhagam Bhag, Phir Hera Pheri, Chup Chup Ke, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Billo Barber were among the comedic films in which Manoj Joshi made his acting debut. Manjo Joshi has also appeared in numerous television programmes. He made his acting debut with Kehta hai dil, and he has since appeared in Chanakya, Rau (Marathi), Sangdil, Kabhi Souten Kabhi Saheli, Khichdi, Mura Raska Mai La (Marathi), Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka, and numerous other programmes. The Star Plus programme Gulaal also features Manoj Joshi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded Sabarkantha Ratna Puraskar to Manoj Joshi. Chakravartin Ashoka earned Manoj Joshi a second Indian Telly Award in 2016 for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Samrat For Dashakriya, Manoj Joshi received a National Award for Best Supporting Actor. Manjo Joshi was Awarded the Padam Shri by the Government of India.
